This years Pride celebration is due to be one of the biggest and best celebration of love the city has ever seen. The fun starts on Saturday 28th with the LGBTQ+ parade, rally and party and continues onto Sunday for workshops, exhibitions and activities.

Lovelocks Coffee Shop

The March begins at St George’s Plateau, but first… coffee! We recommend starting the day off right with a trip to nearby Lovelocks Coffee Shop. This quirky coffeeshop offers freshly prepared, tasty food including plenty of veggie and vegan options, and of course, fantastic coffee.

Cose Buone Italian Food

Little late joining the parade? Join in as the route passes by St John’s, giving yourself a couple of minutes to nip into Cose Buone Italian Food for a sweet (Nutella covered) treat and welcome them to the Colu community!

Heritage

As the march heads towards Castle Street there are plenty more opportunities to grab some refreshment, or jump up from your seat and join the parade!

Santa Maluco & Bold Street Coffee (situated inside)

Towards the end of the march route, we recon it’ll be time to find a spot to raise a toast…

How about HUS on Tithebarn Street, who are hosting the HolloWoods X Uppstar Skyline Terrace Party with our friends Picnic catering!

Can’t make the march? Here are a few of our favourite Pride praising picks from the wider community…

Rainbow donuts (The Bagelry), Rainbow pins and patches (Pin Head) and Unicorn burger (Barbacoa)

Whatever you get up to this weekend, the most important thing is to share the love.

All together now! ❤️
